One of Nagisa Sushi's founders, Masa, spent many years living in Ocean Beach.
Long before Nagisa Sushi opened its doors, he could often be found surfing near the Ocean Beach Pier.

The New Break Roll is named after one of the area's well-known surf breaks.
The roll was created by Masa's son, Miru, who grew up around the beaches and surf culture that define this part of San Diego.

Sunset Roll
The Sunset Roll was inspired by another beloved local surf break and sunset viewing area.
Created by Miru and Masa's wife, Miwa, the roll celebrates the beauty of Southern California evenings spent by the ocean.
For locals, the name immediately brings to mind the golden sunsets that make Ocean Beach and Point Loma so special.
